KIMONO REMAKE DESIGNER
About
Akiyama Ikuyo
"From my mother's chest of drawers..."
By encountering an abundance of kimonos, I strive to explore new fashions that connect classical styles to the modern age.
Utilizing the natural state of vintage fabrics, and seeking "once-in-a-lifetime designs," the sharp garments, composed of straight lines, create a graceful drape that envelops the body when worn, resulting in a piece that allows individuality to shine.

Genderless, ageless, one-size-fits-all, and a versatile piece that can be styled in countless ways.
